Who We Are
Nan Washington FDN (NWGWF) creates personalized fundraisers for non-profits, schools, or other agencies that would benefit from food donations, sports equipment, and or information on physical and mental health.
Founded by Dr. Kasey Phillips Brown, DSW, MSW, LCSW in honor of her grandmother Nannetta Joyce Washington, who strongly believed in extending generosity beyond one's doorstep.
Our Mission
To empower and uplift communities by providing essential support to non-profit organizations, schools, and individuals in need — through supplies, nutrition education, and access to physical and mental health services, locally, nationally, and internationally.

Michael Maine
Consistent Supporter Since 2014
Michael Maine has been a consistent supporter since we were founded in 2014. In order to make his giving convenient, he has set up monthly automatic donations. Michael also created our first Donor Tribute by funding a Backpack giveaway in honor of his beloved mother, Gladys Maine.
"My mother was raised by a schoolteacher and education was very important to her. Helping children is something that was always close to her heart."

Tommy Tales

Somebody (Thomas Washington) ran out of checks, so he was going to go to the ATM, transfer money from one account to another account, then transfer to another account, do the hokey pokey, and turn himself around to pay his cable bill. So unnecessary in this day and time. I just called and paid over the phone.
He then wanted to give me the money when the new checks came. I refused. He insisted. I refused. We compromised with him, giving it to the Nan Washington Global Wellness Foundation. He is so happy and grateful that so many people are being helped in his wife’s name. Thank you all for your ongoing support! You can donate via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal at nanwashingtonfoundation@yahoo.com
